Am I being selfish?

Question

am I selfish for wanting to bottle feed rather than breast so I can go back to my wine and cigarettes after I give birth? I quit cold turkey the moment I found out I was expecting.

Look up second and third hand smoke studies on babies. I think smoking in general is selfish.

Honestly? If you know that breastmilk is better, but you just want your vices back? Yes. You’re being selfish. If you can’t breastfeed or have another reason to use formula, I guess that’s your decision.
(Disclaimer: I used both with most of my kids, so I’m not bashing formula- I just know breastmilk IS healthier.)

Yes. You can drink while breastfeeding and your baby will still be harmed by your smoking no matter which way you feed. I’d take it as an opportunity to quit smoking altogether for your own health as well (because that’s exactly what I did.)

I think smoking and having children is selfish. Fed is best, but second and third hand smoke is detrimental to babies. After not having smoked for nine months I think you should use it as an opportunity to stay away

I know now a days they prefer breast feed babies. I know the nurses at the hospital I delivered gave me the same line like out of a text book when I said I wanted to bottle feed, like they can’t voice their opinion on it but I could tell they want to encourage breast feeding. I went with the bottle feeding but as soon as I came home I regretted my decision. I’m trying my best to see if my supply is savable so I’m pumping and when I get something more then a couple oz out I’ll talk to the doctor about supplementing but idk if it will work out. 
I also was looking forward to a drink after birth, but since giving birth and having my first opportunity for a drink yesterday the drink didn’t mix well with me. I had two sips of an angry orchard rose (something I wanted to try for 9 months) felt tired, face felt red so I gave the rest to my husband and made a pot of coffee. The things you swear you want to do when you have the baby changes as soon as you have your baby. So just do your research on things so you don’t have any regrets. Ultimately fed is best!!
