Getting tongue tie clipped

Has anyone had any experience getting their infants tongue tie clipped? My DD was diagnosed when she was born but they refused to cut it in the hospital since I wasn’t using their pediatrician. I saw her first pediatrician (left for other reasons) and she refused to even look at it since i am bottle feeding. Then we met with a second pediatrician for her 1 month check up and is not sending us to an ENT to get it clipped since she’s a little bit older and this momma is FREAKING OUT! 😭 did they numb it or just clip it? Were you in the room? How awful was the whole ordeal? 😩 TIA!
