Everyone wants to buy cute newborn stuff, try asking for 6-9 months basics too, like onesies and sleepers. You'll be surprised how fast you go through the littlest clothes and are left having to purchase the rest!

Diaper pail, baby tub, diapers, wipes, blankets, burp cloths, bottles (if you'll be using them), you can add big things like a stroller and car seat, crib, pack n play, swing, etc. I wouldn't register for clothes because everyone buys them anyway lol
