terrible 3

does anyone else have a 3 year old that is extremely disrespectful to you? I have tried everything from being nice and talking it out/trying to reason with him, to time outs, bed early, taking things away. nothing works, he used to be so polite and has turned into this demanding little demon. I really dont know what to do and am at my wits end.
