Im in a serious committed relationship and we currently use condoms only, i dont want to screw my hormones out of wack with the pill so, im getting comfirtable with FAM (fertility awareness method) so that we dont have to use a condom unless im in my fertile window. i will agree that condoms can be uncomfortable at times so im looking forward to going raw dog for the first time soon lol

I did have the Mirena for 5 years. It worked perfectly. No need for condoms or “pull out”. My doctor said it’s the equivalent of having your tubes tied (only). So there is a chance of getting pregnant, it’s just not likely that it will ever happen. 
When I had the Mirena removed my now fiancé and I didn’t use any because he was convinced he couldn’t have kids. Also runs in his family for men. After a while of the “no pull out” game I was convinced as well. Over a year later I got pregnant. I was excited. 
I’m actually scheduled for surgery on Monday, August 20th. I’m super excited to meet our bundle of joy and introduce him to his 2 sisters who have wanted a baby brother for a long time now!💙☺️

Committed long term relationship, on birth control, trust my boyfriend and we both have gotten tested too. ☺️ even if BC were to fail we’ve already discussed everything.
