First Year of Marriage

I have always heard that the first year of marriage is one of the hardest: learning to live together, working out money issues, and overall just settling things out. Now don't get me wrong, I love my husband more than anything, but dang this first year has been rough. He works away from home a lot and I have been dealing with anxiety issues. Add to that the stress of a new home, his low libido and the fact that he is very independent and I am not so much and you get quite the stressful situation. I guess what I want to know is if it really does get at least a little easier (I know marriage is hard work though) and when did you guys find that things finally started to smooth out?
