Will it be too late??

Got a “peak” reading on my opk this morning and can’t get in to do my iui until tomorrow morning, will that be too late?

I worry about the same thing but peak supposedly just means LH is surging and that ovulation should happen within 24-36 hours but the time range is scary and the unknown....blood work should confirm if you already ovulated though....I got an LH surge last month on Monday morning at 730am but they weren’t ready to schedule my IUI until I came back at the same time the next day for blood work and at that point they confirmed and I had my IUI at 230pm that day. I am 7dpIUI so I don’t know yet if it worked....I am over analyzing and asked the nurse to send me results from my blood work each day for both cycles so I can see for myself what the estrogen levels were and if it was too late or not.  I decided next month to do clomid and TI instead of IUI just bc I ovulate fine on my own and feel that having  TI everyday leading up to ovulation could be more effective for us.... his sperm count and motility  is normal but just on the cusp and the first time it was abnormally low post wash so I believe that was a high risk factor for it not working.....who knows but everyone’s situation and plan is different. I know two people who conceived after two cycles with clomid without IUI ....

I got my peak last night/today and did my IUI this morning. Our last two cycles I did it after my peak day but with his schedule tomorrow he wouldn’t have time and I have a feeling I ovulate within 24 hours so I didn’t want to wait another day. This is our third and final round of IUI. Hopefully it was the right call. 😳

Typically IUI is scheduled for the morning after you get your first positive reading.

I’m not judging or saying anything is wrong, but it seems super weird for me that the clinic has you do ppl on your own and then “hope” they can get you in for an IUI. At the clinic I work at, we watch ultrasounds until the follicles are a certain size, then we give them an HCG trigger shot to “trigger ovulation and schedule them for a specific time for an IUi. So no one missed their iui time, and we know for sure that ovulation occurred because of the trigger shot. We do IUI 36-42 hours after the trigger shot.
