Question for Christians!

I was saved earlier this year and I can honestly say that it was the best decision that I've ever made and I'll always be thankful for Jesus Christ. I felt his love in my heart that day and it was absolutely amazing, incredible! But lately I've been feeling like I don't have as strong of a connection anymore, if that makes sense? I was wondering if there's anyways that will help me grow my relationship with Jesus? I need to feel his peace overcome me! I've prayed and prayed for this to happen and I'm just stuck. Any advise? Thank you!
