Is there really a difference between “elective abortion” & any other type medical abortion(as far as the procedure method goes) at 10wks? If so what is the difference (other than the name..)

More Specifically: what is the difference between “elective abortion” & other type medical abortion(as far as the procedure method goes) at 10wks? Aka:  What’s the difference between them if they are both done at 10 weeks (ignore the title given to it, I am just wondering if the procedure is different not the name)

Elective - a choice or want of the pregnant woman, nothing wrong medically. 
Medical - most of the time not a choice, but recommended for the health of the woman. 
The procedure is the same, but the terminology is going to be different for each situation. 
EX: You’d never refer to a woman’s ectopic pregnancy as an elective abortion when it was medically necessary to be terminated, they may have really wanted to be pregnant.

There are no differences in the method of the procedure unless I think it is ectopic ...especially at 10 weeks. Surgically it is the same
