Losing my mind?

So according to My app I'm late for AF, but my periods are never regular. I took a test this morning and went on with my morning routine. I forgot to look and didn't set a timer or anything. When I thought about it, I looked at SWEAR I saw a faint line, but it wouldn't show up in pictures or anything. Trying to tell myself it was just an eval line so my hopes don't get shattered in a few days by AF. Anyone do this before?
