Today i got an antique 1960s crib for free and modifed it to make it meet saftey standards for today (immobilized the drop side with L brackets). Im so excited, it is going to go perfect with the vintage theme we wanted for our new baby. All thats left is rubberizing the base handles to prevent slipping and its complete (and clean of course lol) i think its super cute! We are also going to put a mesh bumper over the rails to prevent arms or legs from trying to go through as the rails are slightly wider than todays versions (not by much though)
