We went by LMP, I didn't ovulate till 4 weeks after so my ultrasound at what should've been almost 12 weeks only showed I was 7 weeks and no heartbeat, so I'm having another ultrasound this week sometime, and had blood work done on Friday so my drs office Gould call me in the next day or two to let me know if the hcg hormone went up or not, and even with my son they were wrong and went off his U/S, born 2-3 weeks early and still weighed 8lbs 9oz 21" long. I also ate whateve I wanted and tasted good with him so that could've contributed to his size. I plan to eat whatever I feel like this time too.

Mine went by ultrasound because I didn't know dates. But usually yes.

Yes,ultil your first ultrasound and then try will go by measurement

Mine asked me my LMP and confirmed with an ultrasound. I was measuring exactly (to the day) where I should've been based off of LMP. But, I don't think it is typical to measure exactly where you should be.
