My husband's best friend is his brother. His brother doesn't like me or think I'm a good mom. He lives with us and makes little comments every now and again. My husband either agrees with him or something because when I say something to him about it he brushes it off. Yesterday around bedtime the brother was holding my daughter and she didn't want to go to me because she didn't want to go to bed. He thought this meant she likes him better than me and now has gone so far as to walk into my room to be with her while I'm making her a bottle. It makes me REALLY uncomfortable because my room isn't public property, and it only takes me about a minute and I don't really want him to start badmouthing me to my daughter at this age (or any, really). My husband will say I'm disrespecting his brother if I say anything. What should I do?
