So I’m 19 years old. I have a son who turns 1 in just a couple days. Yes I had a child young but I didn’t get pregnant while living with my mother. I work full time and attend nursing school as well. My fiancé and I have our own apartment and he works too. We are doing great for ourselves.

My family was upset that I got pregnant yet all of them got pregnant when they were 13,14,15, and 16. At least I was 18.

My problem is my family seems to have something against my son and I. No one wanted to come to my baby shower and now no one wants to come to my sons birthday!

It’s not fair to him. He doesn’t deserve to be treated like this. My family even planned to big family party on his birthday! Apparently they didn’t know he birthday was on that day even though they planned this probably 9-10 months ago and I told them ahead of time!

On top of all this my sister is pregnant. She is 18 years old now. She actually planned her pregnancy. She got off her birth control and everything to get pregnant.

My family is all over her telling her they are excited for her baby.

Some people already bought her gifts!

None of my family members on my mom side have ever bought my son anything!

It just breaks my heart.
