Will you be doing any genetic testing?

Question

My sister had genetic testing done  she is 18 weeks pregnant and I am 10. She got a false positive on Edwards syndrome and was a wreck for over a month... these tests are not meant to be used as diagnostic tools, they are meant to be used as a % and you would do an amniocentesis from there.. just wanted some more opinions and see what other moms are doing ☺

I'm willing to do non-invasive blood and ultrasound tests. However, I would NEVER do an amnio...just the thought of one disturbs me! I told my doctor I'm not willing to terminate a pregnancy, so the tests are really for nothing (for me) anyway!

I voted no but that's not entirely true. It won't change anything but we are doing nuchal translucency to assess risk and if it shows a high risk then blood tests. But we wouldn't go all the way to amnio because of the cost and risks. We want to prepared as much as possible without going overboard.
