My boyfriend constantly says this stupid line

I cant control others emotions, if that's how you feel then that's how it is

Whenever I tell him that I’m upset with how he’s been talking to me, he says very mean things to me all the time and when I bring up how his mean words upset me he says this dumbshit that makes me want to scream and rip sidewalks up. I can’t stand it anymore.
