Marriage is like a friendship?

Anyone else’s marriage turn into more like cohabiting with you SO, raising your child/children together, sleeping next to eachother, you get along, do everything together outside of work but there is no romance or anything physical happening? Only married for 3 years...

I think that’s the part of marriage that takes work. I’ve only been married a year but been with my husband for 9 years total. I can see how couples drift apart with kids if you don’t work hard to maintain and nurture that relationship with each other. I am trying to prepare myself for the effort and never let my relationship with my husband fizzle because of our kids. You have to make the relationship a priority and take time away from the kids too to keep the flame alive 💗 do it now before it’s too late. 👌🏻

married 4 1/2 years together 5 1/2 and this perfectly explains my marriage but we have separate beds becsuse we live in a 1bdr with 2 kids so i sleep with my baby daughter he sleeps with our son and we just co exist i mean we love each other but to me it's not romance or anything

I think eventually it ends up that way? I haven’t been married that long yet, but I know it definitely takes work.  
Recently, due to ttc, we haven’t really been as “intimate” and only have sex for the sake of trying to have a baby.  It was uncomfortable, but I had to talk to my husband about it, and he did admit that it became more like a chore.  But now that we’ve discussed it, I feel like there is more of a change.  
Maybe try to make an effort to go on a date night without the kids if it’s possible? Even if it’s just once a month?
