when can you smoke marijuana after pregnancy?

I stopped smoking weed about a month before I got pregnant. I do want to smoke again someday, or maybe just have some edibles.
but I plan to breastfeed and I’m not sure if that’s okay, and when it’ll be okay.
please no judgment, it helps with my anxiety disorder. i wont do it if it’s not safe so that’s why I’m asking

If your breastfeeding you shouldn’t smoke or eat edibles because that will be going into the baby’s system as well. Anything you eat or drink the baby will get.

Speaking as a random stranger on the internet with limited knowledge of the complex human body, I would guess that you should wait till you’re done breastfeeding, as it could probably be passed to baby and we all know that’s probably not a good thing.

I used to smoke and I will not start again while breastfeeding. There isn’t enough research regarding the effect that it has on a baby’s development and if for any reason you or your baby were drug tested he/she could be taken from you, it can show up in the baby’s urine as well.

I smoked throughout my entire pregnancy and still do through 9 months and counting of breastfeeding. Up to you 🤷🏼‍♀️ it doesn’t harm your baby, don’t listen to these uneducated people.
