Would you be mad if your husband took his paycheck and spent a shit ton of money on a birthday present for you (a hotel spa weekend) instead of giving money for the mortgage, that’s ALREADY 3 weeks late!? I know I should be grateful but I just want to keep a roof over my babies head & our car insurance is due. And then he got mad at me and yelled at me for speaking up about it, he hit my dog in the head hard because he started barking and growling at him for yelling at me. I’m out here 6 months pregnant now sleeping on the couch, crying with our son in the other room. I’m just so upset, I don’t know what we’re gonna do 😭😭

Ok, maybe he meant well with the gift and was just being an airhead about the bills. I can see that happening because my husband sucks with finances so I have to do it all. He’s been known to blow money carelessly in the past lol. So I would have just tried to call the hotel or place he purchased it and asked to return it. Even say you’ve become ill or something that will make them sympathize. Him hitting the dog is DISGUSTING. I’m sorry but I may have grabbed something hard and fucking hit him after he did that. Horrible. As for you crying and stressed try to relax for your child and ur unborn child. It’s hard but you need to keep it together for them. It’s easy to be carried away with emotions when pregnant I know, but try to keep it together. ❤️

Try talking to him and telling him you really appreciate it but you both can’t afford to not pay the bills.. he may have got mad bcs he did that for you and felt unappreciated which is not your fault at all but tell him how late you guys are on bills and remind him what can happen if they don’t get paid and your pregnant and you don’t want to stress over that. 
Hitting an animal is never okay, talk to him calmly. Communication is everything. I don’t want you to cry I’ve been there and done that and it sucks ☹️

If he can abuse the dog, he can abuse you. Red flags everywhere. I would be very upset. Try to get a refund back for the gift and pay your bills. You’re right, a roof over your head is much more important.
