So heavy,,, tmi?

Question

My periods are so heavy like I double pad and they still go through to my trousers 
I have blood clots A LOT!! 
I do have to change them way more than every 4 hours which apparently is average, like I’ll try and change every hour but like then the pad is hardly working, so it’s like every 40 mins 
Is this normal?

It is for some people. A super tampon will last about 45-60 minutes for me. If you haven't been checked out by a doctor, do that because that can be a sign of problems but you're probably okay.
