newborn photography??

has anyone done  d.i.y newborn photography  whether it was home or in the hospital?. please post pictures of the outcome. I plan to do my own NB photography once my daughter  arrives, i refuse to pay 800 for a session.

I take all my sons photos my self I’ll get professional family shots once he’s 1,2,3,4 and so on for birthdays. But I have an iPhone and use the Portrait mode and they turn out so beautiful.
