100 mg on first round?!?

So I went and picked up my clomid today and I’m supposed to start my first round Sunday and I noticed my script was wrote for 100mg not the normal 50mg. Anyone else started out with taking that dosage?

Currently on Cycle #1 w/ 100mg for 5days.  Supposedly it’s to help increase your chances of ovulating the 1st cycle. The only thing I’ve got system wise, is Hot flashes, mood swings and light cramps here and there.

Just started my first round as well. 100mg CD 4-8. 
I ovulate regularly.

Were you all already ovulating on your own? All my testing came back good and so did My husbands? So I assume I ovulate on my own...

I did, my doctor didn’t feel like 50 mgs was effective. She prescribed 100mgs 2-5 and I got my clomid baby off that.
