bipolar pregnancies?

any pregnancy storys from moms who are bipolar? i am bipolar 2 and starting to try to conceive. ive been one year free if meds and major episodes so we decided its time to start ttc. im just lil scared cuz im a worrier and am always going back and forth with what ifs. so basicly just want other bipolar moms to say its possible to make it threw pregnancy ok.

I have cyclothymia and ADHD. Still in the 2 week wait, but the nurse practitioner at my psych office is fantastic. She’s been very supportive and full of useful information so far. I’m staying on Buspar and Lamictal, although I’ve had to discontinue the ADHD meds.

I have a daughter with bipolar 1, and a friend whose daughter is also bipolar 1.  My daughter has never been pregnant but her daughter has a son.  She said that her daughter was very even emotionally when she was pregnant.

I’m bipolar l and I’m 34 weeks pregnant. I had to stop taking one of my meds but stayed on a mood stabilizer; both were doctor recommended. I have my spurts of anger and crying but nothing major like when I’m not taking any meds. I do still see a therapist weekly which I find helps me. It’s also nice that I have tons of support from my husband and his family; my family lives in a different province. I do get moments of anxiety but my therapist has given me different
Methods on how to cope with that without my medication for it. I was so worried at the start that I’d be way more emotional and all over the place but honestly that hasn’t been the case. I do get upset over silly things like last night my husband ate my bagel bites and I cried over it for a good 20 minutes 😂
