When to wash clothes

Hey ladies! We are 32 weeks and just had our baby shower - the nursery is getting out of control and I need to start organizing. When did you start washing your baby clothes?

I'm 31 weeks and I washed all the newborn, 0-3 clothes, hats, socks, blankets, swaddles, towels, bins, etc. it took a while so I'm glad I did it. I'll wash the other size clothes as we need them. I'm also getting my hospital bag together so I wanted to have all of her clothes washed that I'm packing for her.

I wash as I get stuff. I got a huge box of hand me downs and those have been washed and put away. My shower is next weekend and I'll wash that stuff within a few days of the shower. I can't stand clutter. Btw I'm 34 weeks.

I'm 33 weeks & just had my shower last week. I decided to wash EVERYTHING today. & man I'm glad I got that over with. It was literally an all day project.

I'm 30 weeks and have washed all the newborn and 0-3 month stuff I have. Going to do it anyways so I just decided to do it sooner rather than later.

I washed everything at 31 weeks, and I'm glad I did because folding and hanging all those tiny onesies and outfits was a bit more tedious than I thought it would be. Not to mention the blankets, receiving blankets, pre made swaddle sacks and crib sheets!

I washed everything after each of my 2 showers. Between the clothes, blankets, burp cloths, sheets, hooded towels, and soft toys (that said to wash them), I had 2 loads from each shower. Blankets & sheets take up a lot of room. But I'm happy it is all done and put away. Squatting and getting the laundry from washer to dryer is just getting harder, lol.

I'm a total OCD/control freak. We started buying clothes back in April/May since winter clothes were on clearance. I started washing clothes before my showers. I'll be 31 weeks (or so the doc says) tomorrow. Peyton's nursery is still out of control though.

I'm 34 weeks 2 days and I've been washing and hanging since 3 weeks ago and I'm still not done. I would get started doing them little by little. It takes a while to figure out where your wanting everything. Take tags off, wash, hang, and fold. Especially if you have other little ones.

We've been washing as we get them, this way we're not doing them all at one time.
