⚠️ASN first then BSN? NURSE ADVICE PLEASE⚠️

AilaFaye

So I’m currently a freshmen in college and I’m in a community college if I get the proper credits I can join the nursing program and graduate with my ASN. I think it’s a good idea because I will be able to start working and save money to pursue my bachelors degree. I will also have hands on experience. It’s just I also have medical friends that advice me to get my AA general and then my Bachelors degree in nursing. I really don’t see the difference I feel like it’s beneficial to get my ASN/ADN and start working as a nurse and at the same time pursue my bachelors while earning money. Is an ASN not considered as an associates degree? can I not pursue a bachelors degree with an ASN?
