Obviously I am not going to JUST ask around on the internet, I will getting myself to a dr ASAP... that being said, I am 34+4weeks pregnant and about three weeks ago I developed a heat rash on my neck from having hot flashes at night sleeping in my pillow. Scratching the rash I felt a new bump on my neck that I at first figured was from the rash and then when the rash went away and the bump didn’t I figured it was a skin tag, which is what it felt like at the time and I couldn’t see it. I have scratched it a couple times and it bled and scabbed over.. then my husband today walked past me while my hair was up and said it looked pretty gross and asked what it was.. which is when I started to freak out. I know my aunt passed of skin cancer that eventually spread before I was born, but I never knew many details about it because it made my dad too uncomfortable to talk about. I tried to take a picture of it, and its honestly just freaking me out more and more. I know google and self diagnosing on the internet can just sending you on a downward spiral when ultimately there could be nothing wrong, but I couldn’t help myself. From what I found it looks like it could be nodular melanoma, and while I’m hoping to get to the dr this week I was wondering if there are any dermatologists on here who could look and tell me what they think? The unknown is just killing me right now. My aunt was very young and I’m only 25, and I have a 2.5 year old and another on the way... I can’t imagine not being around to see them grow up😔
