Do you like the mini pill?

If you have used the mini pill can you tell me the pros and cons? I’m thinking about switching to it.

Why is everyone calling it “the mini pill”??? 😆 I got that it’s small, but seriously 😆😆😆
And it’s great, just take it at the same time. It takes about 1-4 months for your body to return to normal and begin ovulating again after you stop taking it. It took my husband and I 6 months to get pregnant after the I stopped the pill.

I started taking the mini pill when I got my period in June and I’ve been spotting for the past 5 weeks. I started spotting when my July period was due and it’s been very light but non stop since. Idk if it’s a pro or a con bc I usually have terrible periods and I haven’t had a proper one since June so I guess that’s good. It’s made me have bad mood swings where I can become a massive bitch or just get really upset and cry about nothing. It’s starting to calm down now as my body gets used to it but that’s something to consider. I think you should try it bc although I have had some annoying side effects it’s not that bad and I am still going to continue taking it.

With the mini pill you HAVE to take it everyday at the same time. You have a very small window 1-3 hours you can be late taking it and still be protected.
Taking it late is the same as missing it and you chance pregnancy. 
The mini pill leaves your system within 24hours,this is why its so important to remember to take it.
I have not had any issues with the mini pill,it is helping my periods and my cramps are almost gone which is huge since my cramps before were crippling
