What car seat is everyone using?

Hey everyone, I’m reading conflicting info online and I have no clue what to do. Some articles say I should switch my one year old to a front facing car seat and some say keep her rear. I have her in the same car seat I bought (rear facing) when she was a newborn but she has outgrown it and now it’s time for a new one.

You need a convertible seat. They stay rear facing until at least age 2, but preferably until they have reached the height/weight limit of the seat. Then you forward face. Please do not forward face your child before age 2!!! 
My oldest is 2.5 and rear facing in a graco 4ever. My youngest is 1 and rear facing in a graco slimfit. I like both seats a lot.

There is absolutely no reason for a 1 year old to forward face!! Idk where you read that. Almost all state laws say they must rear face until age 2 at least, but most people rear face beyond that even. We have the Safety 1st convertible seat and love it. Its cute, affordable and really comfy for my son

One of ours is the graco 4ever extend2fit and the other is a Britax boulevard clicktight with ARB. They’re both great so far! No complaints :) the clicktight is a very easy install if you have no latch system and have to use the seatbelt. 
And please rear face as long as possible! The graco will rear face up to 50lbs and the britax until 40lbs.

I have the graco 4ever, just installed it. And Ill have it rear facing for at least a year more.Check the state laws, some say one year some say 2.... Safer rear facing  as long as possible

We have a graco extend2fit. It’s good for rear facing for up to like 40lbs so we can keep her that way for awhile. It has 7 or 8 different reclines. We can flip her front facing in my state at 2years old, cause that’s the law lol. But what’s nice about it is that it’s all one piece! The base comes attached.
