That was going to be our name if we had a boy.  My husband and I have had it picked out for years.

If we were having a boy we were going to name him beau. We are having a girl, hoping for a boy for the next baby so we can use the name we love it!

As long as it's not for a girl, I like it. :) Some people might misspell it as Bo, but I think most will spell it correctly. Or at least, it'll be simple enough to correct them.
