Mommy Flight Crews on here?

My doctor just told me that flying ANYWHERE after my 29th week is frowned upon. I thought this was a bit extra & dramatic. Are there any Pilots or Flight attendants on here? Or anyone that travels a lot? We have preggos that fly until they have contractions. I understand going international but going ANYWHERE seems a bit much. Insight?

Most airline regulations are no traveling after the 36th week. You can also look up on the TSA website!

I would just check with each airline as they all have different policies.  I travel for work and traveled up to 35.6 weeks with my first and will most likely do the same this time as long as I’m feeling good and doc says ok.  I had my doctor provide a note last time around in case any airline questioned me but I never needed to show it.

I traveled from OH to FL when I was 33 weeks. No issues. It may be a good idea to get a copy of your OB medical records...JUST IN CASE something were to happen while you were away, the hospital would have your history. But as stated by previous posters, you should be fine to fly up till about 36 weeks as long as you're not classed as high risk.

Ok but does anyone work on a plane? I work on a plane & would like to hear thoughts on that.

Mine said it really depended where. With Zika virus and ticks, sickness outbreaks...  shes worried about any travel really this year. 
I was told as of right now I would easily say until 31 weeks. Barring any issues that may come up.
