TTC is a bit mentally draining

L

I’m 30 years old, never been pregnant, sexually active and on BC since 14 years old, decided in January I was ready. THEN I started reading up on how to conceive and found out what most all you know about how difficult it can be.

I’m on my way to buy my first OPK tests to see what that’s about but it seems like it’s all trial and error. I’ve been tracking my periods using glow app since March, went off BC in April... my husband and I want this to be a fun experience But I also want it to be productive.

Is there anything I’m missing or advice y’all can give? I’m not frantically TTC and I want to be relaxed about it but I also want to do it in a productive way so I’m not 2 years down the road wondering if I’m doing it correctly.

I’m sorry if this doesn’t make sense, I am so new to all of this and it’s a little confusing to me. My fertile window supposedly starts tomorrow so I’m gonna practice with the ovulation tests and see what happens.
