Drinking milk while pregnant?

Hey ladies! I am 14 weeks and 2 days pregnant ! Lately I have been drinking a lot of milk whether it's a glass of milk, chocolate milk or cereal! I was wondering if it is healthy and okay to do so? I just am loving milk lol. Normally it's the 2% kind or the whole milk.

Lol, I drank 2 gallons of whole milk ( which I really hate before and now) a day when I was pregnant with my twins. My bestfriend bought me 3 gallons as a baby shower gift, it was the best gift I got that day lol.

I drink non fat milk which is what my doctor suggested. And I love it. But everyone is different

I don't see why it would be an issue. Especially pasteurized, which most or all store bought milk is.

Milk is great for you!! I mean I am not a doctor or expert at all but what could be bad about drinking milk? It's good for kids, so I'm guessing it's good for the one in your belly as well. Also, when I was pregnant I was on the WIC program, and they gave me free milk, so I'm sure it is actually really good for pregnant woman.

The things you crave usually are to tell you what your body needs. Milk probably means you need more calcium. After all, you are growing another human inside of you!

I hate milk. But before I knew I was preggo,  I would drink a huge glass everyday. I think your body wants that calcium and protein. I still drink it almost daily. Just watch calorie intake. My doctor said it was great for whenever I am bored with water. Later on in the pregnancy, the baby is using so so much of your protein intake for brain and liver development. Milk is an easy way to get that especially if you have a lack of appetite like I do later on. Got milk?

The only concern would be weight gain. But getting enough milk is important for both you and baby. I also drink milk more than usual too.

I drank SO much milk when I was pregnant with my son. Literally a half gallon a day! Which I know is too much. But he came out 9 lbs 4 ozs. And super healthy.
