IUD removal and period...

Ok, so I got my IUD removed on the 15th after I had sex and i was bleeding pretting bad. The doctor said I should get my period but it's never came. I did have sex with the Hubby the day of the removal and again yesterday. I am currently at work and am cramping and just feeling off and when I went to the bathroom and wiped it was pink. Could this be my period making an entrance or could I be pregnant? Please Help. Has anyone had similar experiences with the IUD removal? When did you get your period?
