I have to get a molar pulled Thursday and I am TERRIFIED. :'(  I am wondering if anyone had a tooth pulled with just the numbing and not general anesthesia? I can only get the local numbing shots and take tylenol 3 afterwards.  I am so scares I will feel it.

I've gotten teeth pulled and root canals while pregnant. As long as your Obgyn gives you the ok and your dentist is aware of to ur belly, then all should be fine.

I had a filling. My dentist was nervous and didn't give me the novacaine as well as she normally would have. It sucked, but the pain from the dental work faded faster the pain from my c section.

Yes! I had a wisdom tooth and a fractured tooth right next to it pulled last week Wednesday. It did suck, not going to lie. Start using ice on your face immediately. Take the Tylenol even if you feel like it's not going to help. Getting to bed a little early helped me. I have to get another wisdom tooth pulled along with some fillings redone in a couple days. I have. Not while pregnant but in general the numbing shots work well. I had 8 of them last time I had a tooth pulled but you don't feel the needle after the 2nd shot. Don't be afraid to tell them you can still feel it. They'll give you however many shots it takes to numb you.
