I need advice

Basically I'm on a medication that means I must not get pregnant by accident, because the meds will have serious consequences on my unborn child.

So I need to go on birth control, even though I'm not sexually active right now. Currently I'm on the pill, but I'm very forgetful and can't afford to be. My mam doesn't like the idea of the implant or anything because I'm only 17 and not having sex yet.

Should I stay on the pill, or go on something else? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
