IUD: when should it come out?

My husband and I are wanting to start trying for another child I December. I have the Mirena and I am wondering how soon I should have it taken before we start trying?

Whenever you are ready. I got mine out beginning of May, found out I was pregnant beginning of July. For some you can get pregnant right away and for others it may take up to 6months or longer.

I've had mine out since May 20th. This is my 3rd cycle TTC and it's the most normal one yet. I had mine in for 5 years and I didn't realize how much it was effecting my body till I got it out.

If say now. I've heard cases of it taking a year for someone's cycle to get back to normal let alone fall pregnant, use condoms until you are ready to start trying?

I wish I'd removed mine sooner. I'd say 3 months before
