Yeah I agree. It was a tragedy, but immigration isn’t the issue. Statistically immigrants, regardless of status, have lower rates of crime than US born citizens.

Now we all know im not very keen on El Cheeto. And im pretty sure ive made my stance clear about immigration, so when i Call bullshit, i REALLY mean it. And im calling BULLLLLLL SHHHHHIIII-EEEEET!
His immigration status legit has NOTHING to do with thr fact hes a murderer. He probably did the same shit back in his country. Which may be a good reason as to why hes still undocumented (in this case im not being stereotypical). But thats beside the point. The point is he committed a heinous crime. And deserves the full extent of the law. 
The REAL question is, do we deport him, or house him in one of our federal prisons? How can we trust that wherever hes from is going to serve justice for this woman? 
I am absolutely disappointed that both left and right wing media have even highlighted his immigration status..

I don’t agree with the whole “our women are not safe” aspect of the post, but I do disagree with his immigration status being a factor.  Murderers can be any race, nationality, religion, or gender.

I think things are the way that they are and there are bad people everywhere that are every color. I do believe that illegal immigration is a crime and there are reasons why countries have immigration laws. With that being said, enforcing laws would lower crime rates (by definition because illegal immigration is a crime). I am not anti immigrant, whatsoever, and we should make legal immigration easier. Unfortunately, people from other countries do illegally enter the US to take advantage of our lax gun laws and smuggle out weapons. I think the drug trade is a big problem, too. You may say that drug trafficking isn’t directly violent, but it is linked to increases in violent crimes. Those are just two reasons why I think immigration laws should be enforced.

One cannot judge an entire group of people based on a couple bad ones. It’s not right. I believe anyone who does this kind of act should have the death penalty no matter race culture or religion.
