What wrong with hiiiiim

I’ll keep this as short as I can. Me and my s/o have been together for a year, we’re both 20 in college. The first half of our relationship, he lived in a house by our college campus and I didn’t move any of my stuff there or anything, but I usually slept there. We saw each other a lot and we loved it, never fought, happy as can be.

This summer he ended up moving out of that house and back in with his parents, mostly to save money, completely understandable. He started working at a bar and grill, mostly as a bartender, and works ALL. THE. TIME. That’s fine too but it does suck, our work hours are completely opposite.

I just moved into a new apartment, and have been doing an internship at an accounting office, which is what I’m majoring in. Any day that’s he’s off work, I’ll go over and see him when I get off. I’ve noticed that even when he gets off at a reasonable time, he almost always just goes home.

He spent the night here the other night and his mom called him the next morning asking where he slept because she was just making sure he was alright, and he lied and told her she slept at his guy friends house.... were 20 years old. When I was sleeping at his house every night, my parents obviously knew where I was.. I don’t see why I wouldn’t tell them.

I know his family well, they like me and I see them pretty frequently.

I don’t even know what my point is and I can’t get all of my thoughts straight, but I don’t know if he just like isn’t as independent from his parents as I am, and maybe it bothers me? He doesn’t put in effort to see me like I always have, which does bug me. He used to go out almost every night after work and drink with his coworkers but he can’t come see me other nights? Now he doesn’t even go out and he still doesn’t. I don’t know. Relationships are confusing
