Ladies with Anterior placenta... Is this the baby moving?

Hi mamas! So I was told at my ultrasound that I have an anterior placenta and that would mean it might take longer for me to feel the baby move. However, I'm definetly feeling something that is not gas. It almost feels like out of nowhere I can feel a pulse down there. I wonder if maybe that is the baby? Or maybe I'm actually feeling blood flow in my placenta? I'm 16+2, and have felt this a few times. Any experience with anything like this?

I agree that the pulse is your own pulse. I have an anterior placenta and i started feeling weird rolling feelings around 16.5 weeks but it wasn't very often. Now I'm almost 22 weeks and I can feel his kicks, but again, they're not very strong or very often. I'm a worrier, so hopefully they'll become more consistent and obvious so I can have peace of mind that he's ok in there!

I felt my little man for the first time at 20 weeks and 4 days. He kicks regularly now and I can feel him from the outside! 24 weeks and 1 day now.

I also have an anterior placenta.  I didn't start really feeling my baby move until 7 months pregnant.  I didn't really feel kicks until 30 weeks... And this is my second pregnancy.

I have an anterior placenta and started feeling movements between 16 and 17 weeks. Typically it is felt much lower in the abdomen which is exactly where I felt it. I wasn't sure at first, but after talking with my mama friends I knew it was him :) now at almost 20 weeks I feel him a little more consistently. And now I can feel from the outside of my abdomen half the time.

The pulse is most likely your placenta. I have an anterior placenta and I couldn't feel anything until about 18 weeks. I'm 21 weeks now and even though I can feel it more it's very sporadic and light unless I'm laying a certain way.

I also have an anterior placenta so I was 18 weeks before I was able to feel those little movements now I'm 24 weeks and my baby moves and kicks like crazy.

I believe i also have an anterior placenta. I have felt a few twitches but it comes and goes and isn't very consistent so hard to know if it's digestion/ gas. I can also feel my heart beat on my stomach so it makes it even harder to recognize movements that might be baby. I'm almost 18 weeks and can't wait for a definite baby kick.

Have you ever had like a twitch near your eye? Or like in your leg? That's what I compare feeling the first movements to at first. I was definitely feeling her but had no idea and turns out that twitchy feeling was her ☺️

The pulse is most likely your pulse. There's so much extra blood flow while pregnant. I can feel my pulse almost anywhere on my body. If I just sit and watch my stomach I can see it
