When is it ok or a good time frame.

Question

When is it appropriate to have a 2nd child? We have a 7 month old but how long is a good time frame to have another? 1 year 3years? Help?

Me and my two siblings were all born in four years. My mom said it was the best because once she got one of us out of diapers the next was born and she didn't have to "start over" it was like it never ended lol. And we all grew up really close to each other.

My sister is 22 
I'm 20
My brother is 18

There's no good time to have a second child, it's whenever you feel ready. My 2 children will be 7 1/2 years apart because that's what we felt was right for us.

When my mom was having kids she read a study about this, if you have kids around two years apart they'll grow up together and be able to bond throughout childhood. Kids born 3+ years apart however are more likely to excel educationally (this is what she told me, please don't take it offensively) because they will be at two completely different learning stages throughout their entire life

Well me an my sister are a year and a half apart. That was a really good age gap I feel. My brother on the other hand? Eh the 4 difference is a little hard.

My only is 11 but I had him at 21.. If your family and yourself can handle another small one. Then go ahead especially if you are healthy, don't let time frames get in the way. Talk to your gyno about any health concerns you may have but if you and family are cool with it go for it. I waited 11 years to start again.. Good luck girlfriend

Me and my SO discuss that we don't want another kid for 5-7 years. My brother and sister are 7 years older then me and my other brother is 6 years older then me. Where all really closed and have been throughout my entire life.

I will be 25 (November) and sister will be 20 (October). We have always had a strong bond and both excelled wonderfully in school. It's up to you and what you think is a good age gap and are willing to handle physically as well as financially. When DH and I start ttc we have already discussed our children being at least 2 years apart and no more than 4 or 5 years.
