Strep b advice......

Ladies please help if you can... Just found out after chasing up results at gp as midwives are useless that I have Streptococcal strep b.. now the gp has just said baby will need antibiotics when born and wouldn't give me any other Information as she was ment to have rang me at 9am but she FORGOT so I had to chase her up and she lied to me about leaving a message on my house Phone which doesn't have a voicemail!! So she was in the hump because I caught her out lying I tried to get information but couldn't.. just tried ringing midwives once again impossible to get hold of!! tried ringing his ibd nurse and consultant and once again "lack of staff means they dont pick up the phone" yes thats what the recording says constantly.. tried ringing switchboard at hispital for help no one seems to be able to help so I went on Google and it explained I will need intravenous antibiotics when in labour and could cause complications to baby.. which I am so scared!!! I have tried looking online about if it can be passed to my husband as he is immunosupressed as he has crohnic crohns amongst other things and we have been sexually and orally active. I know it's NOT an sti but it says it can affect people with low immune systems....any help at all if you can... Thank you..
