How far along am I?

Question

Based on my lmp I should be 28 weeks along. But I got my first ultrasound last week and they said I was only 23 weeks. So I'm now 24 weeks. I feel like I'm farther along than 24 weeks. Baby is kicking super hard I'm big but not huge. I'm just confused. This is also my 3rd child. I got pregnant 2 months after my 2nd. According to lmp. So would you say I'm 28 weeks or 24? I'm so confused. 😕 lmp was January 10th.

I would go with the ultrasound. It is far more accurate than LMP.

Personally I'd talk to doc and go by ultrasound in this case mostly since you got pregnant right after your last baby was born your body may not have been back to 'normal' so maybe it wasn't a 'real' LMP or maybe it just makes that inaccurate

The ultrasounds are way more accurate during the first trimester, during second and third baby will start to grow at his/her own rate by genetics and what not but idk if it would be off that much.. Defiantly speak to your dr! Good luck :)

Ultrasound is must accurate in 1st trimester but with the discrepancy of weeks I would trust the U/S. Have you discussed your concerns with OB? Are they concerned about IUGR?

Deff go on the ultrasound. Also since you had just given birth your body was probably all messed up still so lmp isn't accurate for that as well.

Ultrasound is most accurate. With my 1st I was 9w3d based off of LMP. Had ultrasound and there was only a gestational sac, no amniotic fluid, could barely see the fetal pole. We found out I was only 5w3d based on blood work. They thought I had had a missed miscarriage at first. So definitely go by ultrasound. It's more accurate
