Has anyone with an IUD watched The Bleeding Edge on Netflix?

I haven’t watched it but I am intrigued since I had horrible side effects on the “nonhormonal” copper iud. The dr was surprised by my symptoms and even said I’d continue to have them after removal  because it’s nonhormonal and doesn’t cause changes. I got it removed in March and my periods are back to normal. I was always against iuds since you always here horror stories but it was my only option for bc and it wa the worst thing ever.

Maybe you have seen this documentary on Netflix or you have heard of the issues women who have used Essure have faced. Is anyone now reconsidering their choice to have an IUD? I am and I'm not sure if I should have it removed or not.

I haven't watched it, but mine fell into my cervix and I'm now pregnant with number 2. Won't be getting another one after this
