Negative affect?

Would losing weight have a negative affect on ttc? Not a significant amount of weight, just 15 or so pounds.

Depends HOW you are doing it. If you are losing weight in a healthy way-- eating enough nutrition plus exercise-- it won't have a negative effect. However, it's only if you really need to lose weight ))) if you are 120 right now, and trying to be 105, of course it's pretty bad :))))

Are you overweight to begin with or on the thinner side? If you are overweight it will greatly increase your chances.. My sister is pregnant and actually had to lose weight during her pregnancy to have a healthy pregnancy/achieve the VBAC she desperately wanted.. And she has maintained a healthier weight :) .. If you are thinner going down in BMI can cause you to become irregular hormonally. Thus making it harder to conceive
