What is your TTC story POST- IUD/Birthcontrol?

I had the Mirena IUD in for *almost* 7 continuous years. During this time I would have maybe one extremely light cycle each month that would last for a day, if that, but it was consistent.

Once I had the IUD removed (7/11/18) I had a cycle exactly two weeks later, (TMI) it was heavy, very red and last 4 days. I didn’t spot at all after the IUD was removed, so I chalked this as an actually AF cycle.

This is our 1st cycle TTC. I did not use OPKs this month as I was a little late to the game, but I did monitor CM.

(TMI) 4 days before Glows predicted O day, I woke up with headaches for two days straight, I had creamy CM, then it became watery, egg white then dried up. I have no idea how to monitor the cervix 🤦🏼‍♀️

I know some OBs say you can be fertile ASAP after removal, some insist it can take 4/6 months. It’s so hard to know as each woman’s body is different.

I fear my body is not the same as it was my other 2 pregnancy’s, pre-IUD. Two sons, age 9 & 7.

A little back story:

I battled with cervical dysplasia, for 4 years while on the Mirena. I had Cervical cancer biopsy’s done, removed, and passed a pap finally! 🙌🏼 the damage has been done though, my cervix was cut into so many times for biopsy’s, to remove cancerous cells, etc. all the while I had ovarian cysts popping up to to the blockage the Mirena IUD caused. They weren’t big enough to be a concern but now hat I am TTC again, I’m worried all this will hold us back.
