Birth control while on antibiotics
Hey all! So I just found out that I have strep and got put on antibiotics.
While I won’t be contagious anymore after 24 hours, I still have to take my antibiotics until my medicine is all gone. I’ve heard that birth control becomes less effective while on antibiotics. Is this true? And if so, how long do my husband and I need to wait to have sex safely again?
