Sleep aids for toddlers?

My little girl is almost 2 and can't fall asleep on her own, she always wants her dad next to her. When she's asleep and he tries to move, our daughter screams and doesn't stop until he lays down next to her again. I've looked into the Lulla Doll but I'm hoping to find other options. Thank you in advance

Our toddler was doing the same thing right before he turned 2. Turns out he was starting to be afraid of the dark. We got him a nightlight and he’s been going to sleep alone again.

We have a sound machine with a night light that shuts off automatically after one hr. We also have cameras in his room and he knows that if he needs something all he has to do is call for mamma or daddy and we’ll go see him right away
