Is weight really a problem in TTC? I'm healthy other than the fact I'm 5'5" and 243 pounds... Can this be the problem???

It can affect your ability but I'm also 5'5 and was 270 when I got pregnant with my last son.

I suppose it could but other factors may have a greater chance at keeping you from getting pregnant. If you're worried about health then I would just say to treat your body like you're pregnant. Stop eating a lot of sugar and drink water more than anything. Just watch what you put into your body. Don't stress out as much. Just act pregnant :)

Wasn't the case for me I was 204 and got pregnant the very first time we tried for our son

It has to depend on the woman .. Because I work with a woman that's well over 345 pds and she got pregnant back to back last yr and just gave birth to her second baby like last week

I think a high fat percentage can effect hormones. Maybe look this up. Good luck!
