If you haven’t worked in retail then you have no idea. I do, and it’s policy to check all 50 and 100 bills. I’ve worked many different positions at my job and when I’m a cashier I’m required to check them. It’s my job to make sure all bills coming into the store are real. When cashiers sign into the system, they have to type in the amount given and if you give them a 100 bill that’s fake then it’ll be under their employee number and could get fired. It’s policy for all cashiers working in any retail position  to check the bills so get mad all you want sis 🤷🏻‍♀️

Former cashier here and we really didn't care about if the cash was fake or not.  We did it because we didn't want to get in trouble with management for not checking.
And honestly, if a customer got mad about it, that was even more of a reason to check their cash.
