Arg! So I went through finished baby shower invites to make sure everyone was included. My husbands cousin wasn't included so I rushed to fill out an invite. We were out of the original invites so I filled out an extra one. This invite said -party thrown by- I didn't put a lot of thought into it and wrote my mom and sister. After all they are the only ones paying for things, arranging things, etc. Well the MIL called my husband ALL upset about the invite that her cousin received. Complaining my family hasn't given them any tasks (keep in mind they did nothing for my bridal shower). They have this expectation that my family will contac them if needed. They take no initiative. Also my sister has a young son with diabetes and she is in the process of buying/selling a home. I just feel like it is sooo petty. She is upset over not getting "credit" for an event that isn't even about her. Sorry this message is so disjointed. I'm just so irritated. My husband has been great for the most part. He points out that his family needs to be told what to do they won't reach out and ask... However basically that is more work for my family. Come on we are all adults if it means that much to you make an effort!!! Arg! End rant!
